You know, I never get good pictures of Halloween. It gets dark too quickly and kids are just too darn excited to stand still for a picture.
But this is what we had this year:
(1966 Batman to be exact. I made his costume from a vintage pattern)
and Rosie the Riveter!
(She did it all by herself and was quite pleased with all the compliments she got.
One house even made her pose for a picture.)
We headed to our friends' house for a Halloween dinner and then some trick-or-treating. Luckily the rain stopped and we had a very fun evening. Here's our fearsome group of kids:
And uncooperative Robin. He was happy once we got outside.
Then he was content eating candy on dad's lap.
Speaking of dad eating candy, this is Tyler modeling what you'd look like if you ate all the candy! The kids stuffed their bags of candy in dad's shirt and thought it was hysterical. It did make them think twice about eating all that junk!
Hope you all had a very happy Halloween!
And now on to Thanksgiving!
