Maddie took 2nd place in the science fair.
As a mom, I kind of don't do science fairs.
So she and Tyler put in lots of time and energy into getting this project to work and then they mention it's optional. To me optional means don't do it.
But I think they actually had fun. And she was pretty excited about 2nd place.
