Lunch on the Grounds

I'm still playing catch up with pictures.  These are from November 15 which happened to be Maddie's birthday.  The school invited families to eat a picnic lunch on the grounds to celebrate Thanksgiving.  I guess they used to have a Thanksgiving feast with students and parents, but with around 1000 students, that was too many people (there is NO parking at the school either).  I'm not a huge fan of crowds and no parking personally, but I didn't mind having a picnic in sunny, cool weather.  Tyler was even there because it was Maddie's special day.

The grades were split up so first we ate with Elle.  She was buzzing all over the place between friends trying to show off her baby brother.
Wyatt got some torture, I mean love from all the friends.

Elle scampered back to class and then we had lunch with Maddie.  She was rather embarrassed of us, I must say: we weren't sitting in the right spot, I made a hat for Wyatt out of a cloth napkin, Will was running around crazy, I was trying to take pictures.  She's got a long road of parental embarrassment ahead I'm afraid.

Cute boy.
Cute girl.
She will be glad when her other teeth grow in.  They are taking their sweet time.
It was a beautiful day for a picnic and fun to be with our girls at school!

That's a cute way for a school to celebrate Thanksgiving. Looks like fun or embarrassment was had by all!
