Here are some odds and ends and traditions documented that I didn't want to forget:
Will got some new socks. He is IN LOVE with these. There were 4 different kinds of animal feet, but the monster claws are his fave.
Slumber party under the tree.
We made applesauce with the 40 lbs of apples I got from my co-op.
This is the only way I've gotten anything done for the entire month of December. This poor boy. He has just felt so rotten.
Candy Cane fruity coffee cakes. My mom actually made these when I was a kid and I made them for the 2 people who had the sneezed-on treat plates.
Christmas Eve I taped the kids into their hallway. The tree and presents are in between their bedroom and ours, and I didn't want to miss the first faces. I left a note saying to text when they're awake. The benefits of modern technology...
